After university I went to Birmingham to stroll around the city and catch up with friends, sadly we missed all the fun Chinese New Year celebrations happening on the Sunday, there were lots of festivities happening at The Arcadian with lion dancers, martial arts, acrobatic displays and street food markets.
As a way to celebrate we did go to the Big Wok in Chinatown, for a lunch time buffet of £6.99, I hadn't been for about a year and its been refurbished, so it was a great way to spend our lunch time stuffing our faces with sweet potato fritters, which were amazing, especially dipped in sweet & sour sauce. Yum!
