Teresita Orillac | LFW | SS16 Collection

Fashion Scout invited me along to the Sunday of London Fashion Week to see the Teresita Orillac SS16 Collection entitled 'Into the Jungle'. When the transparent invite featuring a peacock feather and leather trim arrived in the post I soon began looking forward to the show, which was located inside the stunning art deco building of Freemasons Hall.

The fashion designer Teresita Orillac is originally from Panama and is now based in Dubai, this was her first showcase in the UK. The SS16 collection has been inspired by the rain forests of Panama by using a shimmering colour palette of blues, greens and lilac across her stunning collection.

All the pieces of the collection featured digital prints using imagery of feathers that are found on the wildlife in her homeland Panama. There were floor length gowns, midi dresses, slips and statement separates all with a feminine silhouette. Sadly my photos do not do the collection justice as I was sitting on the third row, but you can check out Vogue for the full collection.

Overall the show was a success and the collection was beautiful, I can see Teresita Orillac doing really well internationally, I will be looking forward to see what she brings out for AW16.
