I went to the Reading Festival on Friday, it was a last minute thing on the Thursday night so I had no outfits prepared I just threw lots of clothes into a bag and got on my way. We had a weekend ticket so had all our camping gear with us but only stayed the one day but may be going back tomorrow for Muse. I am definitely not a happy camper as soon as I saw the slushy mud, rain and tin can for a toilet I opted to be boring and got home, apart from The Strokes I wasn't bothered about the Saturday line-up anyway.
Apart from seeing 30 Seconds to Mars and Bring Me The Horizon (I have a huge obsession with Jared Leto his like the most hottest man on the planet) it was a bit of a disaster we all lost each other and my mobile decided to break on me the moment I needed it most so it was pitch black I was alone, damp and lost I couldn't get to the white carpark, but after hours walking in circles (with unhelpful directions from staff) I managed to amazingly find my friends and the carpark but then spent hours searching for the car. It was 2am before we found it we headed straight to the nearest service station and slept then got home at 5am to jump in the shower. Done so much walking I could barley walk up the stairs from aching.
My outfit for the day wasn't great I had about 2 minutes to pack, I just opted for the most comfortable item in my wardrobe which was an oversized long blouse and leggings. If I had time to plan an outfit I would have checked out the ASOS Festival collection first and wore some Vintage Levi high waisted shorts, a cut up band top with wellies and leather studded jacket with hood.
